I have a problem with my faucet. I’ve been having a pressure problem for about a full year or so. It used to be a real great faucet; it worked perfectly. I have checked the aerator-the water restrictor for debris and I have taken away the faucet and the tube that lets out water basically drenched the kitchen with water.

Please tell me how to fix this, any suggestions are great.

I have a single handle, older model delta faucet. I’m not sure what the model is because I am renting. Water pressure works great everywhere else in the house. I already took off the aerator and cleaned the debris. I also took off the faucet itself and the water pressure is fine for cold water from the hose, but the hot water barely drips out. What could this possibly be??

I have no water pressure in my kitchen sink (hot or cold). my bath room sink and bathtub (2nd floor) have normal pressure as dose my washing machine (1st floor). What could be the issue? I removed that aerator, and the issue seems to be that the water flow out of the faucet is very slow. I also checked the valves under neath the sink and the are turned on. Other background info, we were experiencing low water pressure on and off for about a month, now it is always low.

My kitchen sink has only one handle for hot and cold. When you turn it on, everything works fine but then it slowly decreases to just a drip. Also, when i remove the aerator and turn the faucet on it doesn’t even flow fast at the beginning. It’s just a drip. I think this means i should replace the aerator but I’m not sure. Any advice.

I turn on the cold and hot water faucets separately and very little water comes out but, when I use the sprayer, everything works fine. I have an attached aerator that threads on the end but nevertheless, when I took it off, the same very little amount of water came out so I wonder if the problem may be in the water lines or something ???? The bathroom sink and tub work just fine. Any advice is appreciated….Thanks….
Like I said if you were paying attention, I ALREADY DID THAT. I am 39 years old and I have done alot, including electrical and auto repair but a plumber I am not but when I ask for some advice, I dont want a kid answering who has never repaired a faucet in his life, ok??? Thanks anyway !!!!

Our kitchen sink faucet keeps spraying in crazy directions, within a day or two of cleaning out the aerator. Today we took it off again and found lots of little white flakes. Is this calcium, or something else? My husband says it only happens with hot water and must be related to the water heater.

For about a 3 months now, we keep getting these very small pieces of what i think is calcium deposits in our water. In our kitchen and bathroom, where the faucets have aerator filters, I have to clean the filters about once a week or it will severely restrict our water flow in these faucets. I think maybe its because our hot water heater is getting old. Could it be something more serious though???

Ok i’m not handy at all so bare with me. 2 days ago my kitchen sink started to shut off when I turned the pressure up (low pressure ran fine) so I removed the aerator and the pressure increased slightly.

So it stayed like that until this evening. Now I’ve loss all pressure..barely a trickle coming out. Any suggestions?

I just bought a new moen kitchen faucet, no kinks in the lines, and i checked the aerator. I disconnected the lines to check the pressure from the lines, it is strong at that point which leads me to think it is the faucet or something getting caught in the faucet and restricting flow, but what, and what can i do. The previous faucet had low flow as well. All of the other faucets in the house have good pressure. I found a few specks of rust in the aerator of both new and old faucets. Is there an internal screen in the faucet itself that i can clean? It is a real pain to wash dishes. Need help ASAP.

About a week ago the kitchen faucet lost water pressure, but the pull out sprayer works fine along with the bathroom sinks. I have taken off the aerator and cleaned it it helped a lil bit. but still the water pressure it not like before and it makes a scrubbing noise like when i turn on the faucet. If any one knows what i am talking about or how to fix it would greatly appreciate it
