I was trying to clean out the debris my faucet’s aerator. I have an American Standard Fairbury Single Control Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet. Like an idiot, I twisted of the spray head from the hose without remembering to hold on to the fitted washer. The result was that the hose got pulled back into the holder and I lost the fitted washer deep inside the gooseneck holder. Now my erator is as clean as new, but I cannot connect the spray head back into the hose in order to use it normally. Please help me find a way to get the fitter back up (or down) as long as it can emerge back to the tip of the hose so I can connect it to the spray head. Thanks for your time.
About a week ago the kitchen faucet lost water pressure, but the pull out sprayer works fine along with the bathroom sinks. I have taken off the aerator and cleaned it it helped a lil bit. but still the water pressure it not like before and it makes a scrubbing noise like when i turn on the faucet. If any one knows what i am talking about or how to fix it would greatly appreciate it
We have little water pressure with the kitchen faucet itself, checked the aerator and it is good. The spray hose is working great. Lines are all open. I don’t understand how the hose can have full pressure while the spout doesn’t?
When i removed the aerator on the Kitchen faucet the water comes rushing out. But the little filter in the cap is always black with sediment. after cleaning it, it works a little better for a day or two, but then is filled with sediment again. No other faucet in the house is slow, only this kitchen sink faucet. So what do i need to do? It is the Moen legend faucet with sprayer.
i like using my dishwasher so i need to know how do i remove this? ive tried pulling and turning and i only hurt my hand. Please someone tell me how to fix it
You know how every once in a while, there is a jar you can’t open no matter how hard you try, but then along comes (insert your person here) and they can always open the jars you can’t? Well I’m that person. I can open things that big grown men can’t.
More to the problem, I bought a Brita water filter (the kind that attaches on to the faucet) for my apartment. I CANNOT for the life of me get the darn thing off so that I can attach my filter! (It’s the kind you twist off) I’ve tired getting one of those rubbery grippy things and twisting, and just for the sake of it, I went on ahead and asked some friends and my husband, but we just can’t get the sucker off! Does anyone know of any tricks I cna use to get my Aerator detached from my Kitchen faucet?
(An Aerator is one of those things that twist on and off of the faucet to mix in air with your water conrol the amount of water that comes from your faucet.)
Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions!
Periodically, the pressure in my kitchen faucet gets so low the water reduces to only a trickle. Happens with Hot or cold water. The sprayer however works fine. Problem usually occurs after the faucet has been running for a while (but I cannot always recreate it when I want to…it is sporatic). I have a single handle Moen faucet. I have removed Aerator. I have replaced the cartridge. The valves are fully open. No pressure problems anywhere else in the house. Any ideas?
